•Diabetes• Digestive Disorders/Malabsorption• Food Allergies

•And many, many more
How you feel after eating can reflect how well you are absorbing the nutrients in your food. The nutrients you absorb reflect how well you are digesting your food. Your health begins in your digestive tract. That means that your nervous, immune, endocrine, musculoskeletal, and all other systems are directly impacted by your digestive health. By combining colon hydrotherapy with a variety of holistic methods, we will help you naturally detoxify—restoring your digestive health and improving your quality of living. Here are just a few of the digestive disorders we treat:
•Crohn’s Disease•Diverticulitis/Diverticulosis•Food Allergies•Food Sensitivity•Gallbladder Disease•Heartburn/Reflux•Infection/IBS
•Irritable Bowel Disease•Leaky Gut Syndrome•And many, many more.
Intravenous (IV) therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream for maximum absorption. By bypassing the digestive system, your body receives the highest levels of nutrients possible. This allows the nutrients to flood your body and nourish itself at the cellular level.
When used proactively, IV therapy can help maintain optimum wellness as well as treat the following acute and chronic conditions.
• Adjunctive cancer treatments•Anxiety•Arrhythmia•Arthritis• Asthma
•Autoimmune Disorders•Chelation•Chronic fatigue syndrome•Chronic pain•Dehydration•Diabetes•Epstein-Barr•Fibromyalgia•Heart disease•Heavy metal removal•Irritable bowel syndrome •Infectious diseases•Lyme disease•Migraines•Major autohemotherapy (MAHT)
•Malabsorption•Ultraviolet blood irradiation•And many other individualized therapies, based on the patient's needs
Balance within the endocrine system is vital for both men and women. Your pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal glands are so intricately connected that when one is out of balance, the others are intensely affected.
As one of the master glands of the body, your thyroid acts as a regulator to your metabolism—the system that helps the body use energy. Thyroid disorders can slow down or rev up your metabolism by disrupting the production of thyroid hormones, resulting in what’s known as hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. In order to regulate effectively, your thyroid levels have to be optimal—a difficult task when we live in a world with so many environmental and dietary pollutants. These pollutants can cause imbalances in our bodies that affect our thyroid levels.
Both men and women can find themselves affected by thyroid dysfunction without even knowing it. It has been our experience that most conventional doctors run very basic, standard thyroid tests. Many of our patients have been told by previous healthcare professionals that their thyroid levels are normal, yet their symptoms persist. Naturopathic Medical tests your thyroid more extensively, running comprehensive tests to discover, then naturally resolve, the underlying issues with your thyroid disorder.
The following are common symptoms of thyroid disorders that should be considered for treatment:
• Abnormal menstrual periods•Anxiety•Bloating•Brain Fog/Memory loss
• Cold hands/Cold feet•Constipation•Depression•Dry skin•Feeling too hot/too cold•Inability to lose weight•Irregular heart palpitations•Lack of energy•Moodiness or irritability•Muscle weakness•Restlessness•Sleep Disorders•Unexplained weight gain
Normally-functioning adrenal glands secrete miniscule yet precisely-balanced amounts of steroid hormones; but because they are designed to be so very responsive to changes in your inner, physical, emotional, and psychological environment, any number of factors can interfere with this finely-tuned balance. This means too much physical, emotional, environmental, and/or physiologic stress can deplete your adrenals, causing dysfunction in your adrenal output.
The adrenal glands are small glands located on top of each kidney and produce necessary hormones including sex hormones (DHEA) and cortisol. These hormones help you respond to stresses such as injury or illness, burn protein and fat, and regulate blood pressure. Your adrenals also regulate everything from your sleep/wake cycles to your stress tolerance and, if the adrenals are affected, the other endocrine glands are probably out of balance in your system as well. When imbalance occurs, diseases such as pancreatitis, adrenal fatigue, or diabetes/blood sugar irregularity appear. Though these are found in both men and women, these diseases are especially common in women who are both peri- and post-menopausal.
Because the adrenals are directly connected to thyroid productivity, similar symptoms to those of thyroid dysfunction will often appear yet go undiagnosed because thyroid levels are “normal.” We are dedicated to diagnosing your imbalance, helping you bring regulation and harmony back to your system through natural adrenal therapy and restoring your healthy lifestyle. You should consider adrenal treatments if you are experiencing any of these symptoms:
•Anxiety•Craving salty foods•Decreased sex drive•Dizziness
•Excessive fatigue, especially after exercising•Feeling both tired and “wired” at the same time•Inability to handle stressful events•Irritability
•Lack of enjoyment or satisfaction•Low blood pressure•Mild depression•Other adrenal symptoms
As we age, our hormone levels naturally decrease that can leave us with difficult or debilitating symptoms. Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) is a well-researched therapy that has treated many health conditions; most commonly, as a means of relieving menopausal symptoms, reducing the risks of osteoporosis, and balancing hormonal levels in both men and women. A bio-identical hormone is defined as a molecule identical to a hormone produced by the human body. When introduced to the body, these molecules act as a balance or restorative agent to optimize and augment your natural hormones to a more youthful level in effort to restore energy, improve sleep patterns, and resolve other hormone-related symptoms.
Using a blend of injections, botanicals, creams, suppositories, and/or custom-compounded prescriptions, we will create a natural hormone therapy that is individualized specifically for you. Beginning with a symptom survey, we talk extensively about your symptoms and find out what your expectations are. As we meet we fill out a checklist together, helping us develop a more personalized treatment plan for you. Salivary, urine, and blood hormone testing is appropriately chosen and a comprehensive treatment plan is then drawn up. Throughout the therapy we meet periodically to ensure you are getting the most out of the treatment plans and carefully make adjustments as needed.
It is our experience that BHRT is a fantastic piece of the overall puzzle; however, there are often many other layers of physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental imbalances that need to be addressed in order to improve your health. The staff at Naturopathic Medical is here to help you every step of the way.
